OMG! I used to go to Brewers when I was in college! I love that place….I wished I would’ve tried the fries though….that salt sounds amazing!

That’s funny, I didn’t know that brewers was known for their wine. Ha, either way we can agree on the fries. I’m definitely up for trying out some more bread recipes, I think there is just an imaginary wall that holds me back. I like to do things from scratch so using the 5 min. bread or using a bread maker seems like a cop-out, but the full process of traditional bread has so many steps and variables that it’s a little daunting. I have had success with flat breads so I’ll just stick to those until I get the gumption to try again.

i looooove brewer’s art’s fries! yum! and their reisling there is divine.
i’m actually making some potato chips tonight, but with thyme salt (i’m in love with thyme right now).

i think you should def. give bread a whirl, many times! there are so many easy bread recipes out there, sans yeast and kneading. believe me, if i can do it, you can do it!

Thanks, I thought you’ve had this stuff before. I usually mix up some “sauce” with it too. Like 1 part mayo to 1 part lemon or lime juice (depeding on how soupy you want it).

Looks good. I remember having rosemary garlic fries at a brew pub in Santa Barbara back in the day. I agree it is a perfect accompaniment to beer since I still remember it quite vividly.
